The Helix Fire Department was established in 1976 and has serviced this community faithfully with volunteers every since.  Our volunteers range in age from late teenage to late fifties; and they range in occupations from trades, to medical, to clerical and professional careers.

​Our volunteer force must meet the same training and education requirements as Professional Firefighters as set forth by the State of Oregon (DPSST). So you know when you dial "911" you'll be receiving top quality care and service from dedicated, professional providers who are also your neighbors.
